Founder and CEO

Mmapitse is Founder and CEO of Orbitus Capital.
She is a finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in Auditing, Investment banking and Private Markets Investments having worked in Corporate, Leveraged finance and Private equity.

She started her career at Ernst and Young in the Audit division and went on to join their Corporate Finance department. She also has experience in Leveraged finance having worked at Investec’s Growth and Acquisition Finance division and Private equity and Investment management experience at Standard Bank and Spinnaker Growth Partners.

She is a CA(SA) and has an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.

Mmapitse is a Panel Member at the Takeover Regulations Panel and a Non-Executive Director at Co-Cre8 (Pty) Ltd (Previously Fujitsu SA).

She is also founder of the “Lean on Me” Project which assists the destitute.
